Cinnamon Rolls :d

Well all know and love these, CINNAMON ROLLS!!! They're, in my opinion, one of the best things ever created! And for those of you that agree, here's the recipe to how to make it:

Ingredients

Dough:

  • 1/4-ounce package yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup scalded milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter or shortening
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose flour

Filling:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter, plus more for pan
  • 3/4 cup sugar, plus more for pan
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup raisins, walnuts, or pecans, optional

Glaze:

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 to 6 tablespoons hot water

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside. In a large bowl mix milk, sugar, melted butter, salt and egg. Add 2 cups of flour and mix until smooth. Add yeast mixture. Mix in remaining flour until dough is easy to handle. Knead dough on lightly floured surface for 5 to 10 minutes. Place in well-greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled in size, usually 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
When doubled in size, punch down dough. Roll out on a floured surface into a 15 by 9-inch rectangle. Spread melted butter all over dough. Mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over buttered dough. Sprinkle with walnuts, pecans, or raisins if desired. Beginning at the 15-inch side, role up dough and pinch edge together to seal. Cut into 12 to 15 slices.
Coat the bottom of baking pan with butter and sprinkle with sugar. Place cinnamon roll slices close together in the pan and let rise until dough is doubled, about 45 minutes. Bake for about 30 minutes or until nicely browned.
Meanwhile, mix butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Add hot water 1 tablespoon at a time until the glaze reaches desired consistency. Spread over slightly cooled rolls.
Enjoy!

Classic Bambi :)

Bambi!
We all have seen it at one point, admit it. I hope you guys remember Bambi, because i actually forgot about him for a while. I first saw this amazing movie when i was about 5ish. The first few times i saw it, i wasn't too sure what happened to his mother, but as i grew older, i was literally like ".....Oh. That's so sad... :(". This movie is very cute and puts a smile on your face. The little cute characters just kept me focused on the movie the whole time, and as a little kid, i kept wanting to know what was going to happen next. I remember i saw this movie about 7 times and yet was not tired of it. This is probably one of the best childhood movies i've ever seen and i recommend to future children of various ages. Without a doubt, this movie changes your feelings throughout it because at first you'll be all happy, but then you'll get sad, and then you'll think something is cute, and then you'll be happy again. It is for sure a good experience.

Zombieland!!!

Zombieland!

One of the down right best zombie movies of all times. Admit it, most of us would love for a zombie apocalypse to happen, I know i would. This hilarious movie captures our attention and makes us laugh greatly, it makes us wish we would experience this kind of adventure. The rules that the main character has would seem to be helpful if there ever were a zombie apocalypse. I also liked how they used the classic tweenkies being able to survive pretty much everything. The creator did an excellent job of the storyline and slowly adding characters to the movie without throwing us off. They also picked the perfect people to play as these characters. I highly recommend this movie to anyone that likes zombie related stuff, i swear, ive seen this movie like 5 times and it still manages to make me laugh.

The Lion King

We all know what movie this is, so it doesn't need an introduction. This was literally my favorite movie in the world when i was 7! This movie had some sad parts though, like when Scar didn't save his brother when he was on the edge of the cliff, i thought Scar was such a jerk. I also loved Timone and Pumba, they were so funny. Those hyena's were an interesting trio as well. It was great how Simba grew up and then went back to fight his uncle and take his rightful position as king back. This movie was full of  happiness, sadness, and alot of funny stuff. I love this movie still over all and would still watch it nowadays. This is like a must-see for ever kid.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2

The moment we've all been waiting for has arrived; COD Black Ops 2 is out! I recently played this new Treyarch game hoping it would be a major upgrade from the first Black Ops, and i can honestly say i was astonished. First of all, the zombies; they're extremely and addictingly fun! You dont have to waste a lot of money opening map doors and everything is closer. There's also a huge bonus where you and your teammate on co-op share money in a way. As in when you shoot, they got money as well. I like how you dont have to run across the map to find the mystery box because it stays in one are. My personal favorite was the farm stage. It's also crazy how the zombies come from all over the place, so you gotta watch your back. I also like how you can skip rounds, because when youre really good, the last thing you want to do is start off at round 1 when you know you can  easily survive until round 30. Next, i want to talk about the split screen; it was something way too different. I personally like the way you create a class in the first Black Ops better. The wildcards are pretty helpful though, such as having a primary weapon as your secondary. It took a while to get used to this new menu, but i wasn't a big fan of it. The graphics in general are great. The campaign was something i didnt really do a lot of because the zombies and multiplayer was just too tempting. But the little i played, it seems to be pretty intense. Im hoping the story line is epic and have a great ending. The online gaming is great and classicly fun like the other Call Of Dutys. This game is highly recommended and an upgrade from the first Black Ops.

Metroid Fusion

I hope most of you are aware with the Metroid series, so in this blog, i'm going to talk about one of my personal favorites, Metroid Fusion. Metroid Fusion seems to take place after Super Metroid for the SNES. The story is something totally different to what previous Metroid games have and is still one of the funnest. Having a computer navigate you around is pretty cool at first, but can get annoying when he wants you to keep going back and forth the sectors. But it makes up for it by providing fun boss fights and awesome new weapons. One of the scariest things is when you encounter the SA-X clone. The X parasite infected her suit and weapons so the scientists in the Galactic Federation had to remove pretty much everything you had. It was later in the game that they found out that the X are able to mimic their prey, and since your weapons had X parasites in them, a clone was made of you known as the SA-X. There is one extremely scary encounter where you literally have to shoot at it with ice missiles and run before it defrosts. I would shoot like 5 missiles just because i was scared even though i only needed one. One of the things i most liked about it is that you once again face an original enemy, Ridley. My favorite weapon throughout the entire game would have to be the newly added defusion missiles that charge and explode in an encompassing ice cloud, freezing all enemies in range. The overall game has great graphics, an epic story line, action packed boss battles, and puzzles that are fun to figure out. Out of all the Metroid series, this one is one of the best in my opinion.
